Pastor Eugene Cho of Quest Church, a fellow Evangelical Covenant Church in Seattle and one of my favorite blog reads at beauty and depravity did a re-post on why he blogs. A few months ago, when I read the original post, it resonated in me and planted the first seed in me to start thinking about blogging. Thank you PE for listening to His call and being an inspiration. May God continue to work through you.

Dave,
Thank you for creating such a great outlet in which we can all see how you personally surrender to God in your daily life! And tell Val congrats on her IPhone (she’s so lucky!) Tavia.
Your blog is the bomb-diggity! (can I say that?) I’m doing homework now, cramming for a quiz, and decided to get a “pick me up” by visiting your blogspot

no, you are da ‘bomb-diggity’… ha, ok, that sure didn’t sound like me! i don’t think i’ve ever said the phrase, ‘da bomb’, much less the ‘diggity’ part! did you just coin that phrase? thanks for stopping by on your homework break! for that, i’m sure you’ll do good on the quiz! ha!

Dave-
Haha. Every time I go on your blog and start reading I wanna pour my freakin heart out! It’s good though.
If you don’t mind, can the comment section of your blog be my sub-level blog?
If you see the time on this entry, yes it’s correct. But this is what happens when you decide to drink a can of Mountain Dew, and a couple morsels of chocolate at 1130pm. And even though I just did like 4 days worth of homework, I don’t feel stressed at all. (must be the cocoa beans talking)
I just think of how good God is to all of us. I feel His Holy Spirit around all the time. There is something that is just so awesome about being completely happy for just no reason at all. I think sometime during last semester, something finally clicked with me that I could just let God do all the “protecting” I needed in my life (must be all those awesome bible studies). It’s not as hard as before to not worry about planning every little thing for every moment anymore. Don’t you think He puts us right where we need to be at the right time? I’m so thankful for the current little simplicities He’s put in my life.
Oh, I wish I could credit for the phrase, but I can’t. I think the phrase has been around for at least the last 10 to 15 years (it’s retro) but I know nobody in Hawaii really uses it! Thank you for sending the e-mail on Andrew because I never got a chance to read the paper today (or yesterday I think) . He seems like such a gentle soul. Well, I’m sure I have rambled on for far too long now. So goodnight and morning. And just keep being a bright light that shows! (I was gonna write shows and glows) now I know I’m going mental! Tavia
